1080p. 1080p resolution does the following: Displays images at a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Provides the user with a 16:9 high definition (HD) viewing area. 1080p is the most common resolution for movies, TV, gaming, and many of the experiences that Xbox has to offer.

1080p. 1440p (you’ll only see this option if your TV supports 1440p) 4K UHD (you’ll only see this option if your TV supports 4K) Your Xbox console should automatically select the setting that best matches your TV. Refresh rate.

If your Xbox 360 console can't play a disc, or if the disc drive is stuck in an open or closed position, we’ll walk you through some steps to try to fix the problem.

Make sure that your TV is set to the same video broadcast system (PAL or NTSC) as your Xbox 360 console. For example, if your Xbox 360 console was purchased in the United States, make sure that your TV supports NTSC. If your Xbox 360 console is a PAL console, set your TV to PAL 60.

How to update. Install from Xbox Live. The easiest way to update your console software is to connect to Xbox Live. To update your console by using Xbox Live, all you need is an internet connection. Games & apps. Some game clips can be captured only in 4K HDR. Clip resolution is fixed at 4K HDR for certain games on Xbox—even if you’ve selected a lower default resolution. At 4K HDR, game clips can be up to 30 seconds when capturing to your console’s internal storage.
